All tasks, calendar events, finances, vault documents, and journal entries are stored encrypted locally on your device.
Ritikal contains no analytics SDKs, advertising trackers, or data-collection middleware.
1. Core Privacy Philosophy
Ritikal is built on the fundamental principle that your personal schedule, financial records, identity documents, and personal reflections belong strictly to you. Unlike conventional productivity apps, Ritikal operates 100% offline-first.
2. Data Collection & Processing
We do not collect, monetize, transmit, or share your personal data.
- No Analytics Tracking: We do not track page views, app session times, or user behavior.
- No Advertising: There are no advertisements or marketing trackers in Ritikal.
- On-Device OCR: Document scanning and OCR text recognition execute entirely on your device hardware without transmitting photos to any cloud AI service.
3. Data Storage & Encryption
Your local database is protected using 256-bit SQLCipher encryption. Backups exported by the user are wrapped in an AES-256-GCM cipher container protected by your custom passphrase.
4. Optional Cloud Synchronization
If you choose to sign in to enable multi-device sync, data is transmitted strictly between your authorized devices and your private database over encrypted TLS connections. Row Level Security (RLS) guarantees that only your authenticated account credentials can read or write your records.
5. Account Deletion & Data Purge
You retain complete sovereignty over your data. In the app settings, triggering “Delete Account” immediately cascades a permanent, irreversible purge of all remote records and resets your local storage.
